Your Shopping List

The moment you generate or update your meal plan, RunMyKitchen builds a shopping list of everything you need — minus what’s already in your pantry.

Your shopping list is the difference between what your meal plan requires and what your pantry already has. If your plan calls for 2 lbs of chicken thighs and you have 1 lb logged, the list shows 1 lb. If you have soy sauce, it doesn’t appear at all.

Every swap, regeneration, or drag-and-drop edit to your meal plan updates the shopping list instantly.

Items are grouped by store aisle: produce, proteins, dairy, grains, canned goods, spices, and so on. This matches how most grocery stores are laid out, so you can work through the list top-to-bottom whether you’re shopping in person or scanning before you order online.

Already picked up the onions? Tap to check them off. Checked items move to a “Got it” section at the bottom. If you add those items to your pantry too, they won’t reappear next week.

Swipe left on any item (or tap the X) to remove it. Removing an item from the shopping list doesn’t change your meal plan — it just means you’re choosing to skip that ingredient or already have a substitute in mind.
