Upload a Receipt or Photo

Snap a photo of a grocery receipt or your open fridge, send it in the chat, and the AI extracts every item into your pantry. No typing required — it reads line items from receipts and identifies food from fridge photos.

Upload a receipt

1. Tap the camera icon in the chat input.
2. Take a photo of your receipt, or choose one from your gallery.
3. Send it. The AI parses each line item and adds it to your pantry.
4. Review the items it found. Say “Remove the paper towels” to drop non-food items.

Tip

Lay the receipt flat and make sure the text is readable. Crumpled or shadowed receipts may miss items.

Upload a fridge photo

1. Tap the camera icon and snap a photo of your open fridge.
2. Send it. The AI identifies visible items — produce, condiments, containers, drinks.
3. Confirm or correct: “That’s almond milk, not regular” or “There’s also yogurt behind the juice.”

What gets extracted

• Receipts: Item names, quantities, and approximate sizes. It skips non-food items like cleaning supplies unless you tell it to include them.
• Fridge photos: Recognizable items based on packaging, labels, and appearance. Quantities are estimated — you can refine them.

Note

The AI handles most grocery store receipt formats. Handwritten lists or heavily abbreviated items may need a quick correction.

Combine methods
