Ask what to make tonight
Section titled “Ask what to make tonight”-
Open the chat
Tap the chat icon from any screen. This is your direct line to the AI — think of it as texting a personal chef who already knows your kitchen.
-
Tell it what you’re in the mood for
Be as vague or specific as you want:
- “What can I make tonight?”
- “I have chicken, rice, and broccoli”
- “Something quick for the kids”
- “Use up that salmon before it goes bad”
You don’t need to list your ingredients every time. The AI already knows your pantry. Just tell it what you’re feeling.
-
Review your suggestions
The AI comes back with three recipe ideas, ranked by how well they match what you have on hand. Each suggestion shows:
- The dish name and a short description
- Estimated cook time
- How many pantry ingredients it uses (and what you’d need to buy)
Recipes that use more of what you already have show up first.
-
Pick one and see the full recipe
Tap any suggestion to expand it into a complete recipe — full ingredient list with measurements, step-by-step instructions, and serving size. Everything is adjusted for your household size.
-
Refine if it’s not quite right
Not feeling it? Keep the conversation going:
- “Make it spicier”
- “Something with fewer steps”
- “What about a vegetarian option?”
- “Can I substitute the cream?”
The AI adjusts on the fly without losing context. It remembers what you’ve already said in the conversation.
